What this service entails

One team for the entire rebuild

Most reconstructions stall because five trades blame each other. With Amberline, one project manager owns your schedule, one workshop builds your joinery, and one crew fits it — so walls, floors, stairs and furniture arrive in the right order and fit first time.

Typical projects run 8–16 weeks and cover two or more rooms, often with structural openings, new staircases and a full re-floor.

Survey & design

Weeks 1–2: measure, structural review, drawings and a fixed quote you can hold us to.

Workshop build

Weeks 3–8: stairs, doors and storage are machined and finished while site work starts.

Fit-out

Weeks 6–14: phased fitting room by room, floors last, dust barriers throughout.

Handover

Final oiling, snag walkthrough, care kit and warranty paperwork signed off together.

Reconstruction FAQs

Can we live in the house during the work?

Usually, yes. We phase the work room by room with dust barriers and a working kitchen or bathroom kept live wherever possible. We agree the phasing plan with you before we start.

Do you handle structural work and permits?

We coordinate with a licensed structural engineer and manage permit drawings for the joinery and layout scope. Purely structural masonry or foundation work is referred to a trusted partner we supervise on site.

What does a reconstruction cost?

Most whole-home projects fall between $45,000 and $140,000 depending on size, staircase work and floor area. Your fixed quote breaks every element down, so you can add or trim scope with eyes open.
